INVITATION

What is the Future of Wheat? – Live Broadcast in Trangie

You are invited to attend Australia’s first live panel discussion on the future of wheat breeding and research to be broadcast across the country – including Trangie, New South Wales.

The interactive Discussion Forum is being held as part of the Wheat Breeding Assembly in Perth on Wednesday 24 August.

Hosted by the Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC), forum viewers will hear first-hand from GRDC’s new Managing Director John Harvey.

It is also a rare opportunity to directly engage with respected grain industry experts from the CSIRO, wheat breeding companies, growers, CBH and biotech companies.

The discussion will address current issues affecting the wheat breeding industry and the future of Australia’s biggest food crop.
Enabled by the latest technology, the web broadcast will allow growers from across Australia, including Trangie, to ask their own questions live of the panel.
It is being streamed on the internet to prominent wheat breeding locations in Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.
